About Us
OUR STORY
Strand Church is made up of disciples of Jesus, from at all ages and stages of life!
The Church is Gods people… not a building!!
Gods people have been worshipping here on Connsbrook Avenue from 1903, and in our current building since 2013.
We are people of FAITH HOPE AND LOVE
We strive to show LOVE to our neighbours here in Sydenham, sharing a message of HOPE, and walking by FAITH.

OUR MINISTER: Rev. Alan Marsh
Alan was called to serve as Minister here in Strand after previously leading two congregations in South Armagh.
Before that, he was the Assistant Minster in McQuiston Memorial, and worked as a Paediatric Nurse in the Ulster Hospital.
Alan is married to Esther, and together they are blessed with four children—Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and little Sarah.
His prayer for us as a Church Family is that we would, “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
